Certificate Validation Service API

The Certificate Validation Service API is a useful service to fulfill most of the requirements of SCVP [RFC5055].

The intent was to provide an machanism to validate U.S. Federal PKI Certificates centrally to determine organizational compliance to FISMA, as well as serving as a data stream for government-wide feedback of the program.
